We’re excited to share recent highlights from Pars TV, where host Jordan conducted illuminating halftime interviews with key figures in our mission to make football accessible to all.

David Henderson, who has been the voice behind Dunfermline Athletics audio commentary for the past decade, shared his experiences and insights into bringing the beautiful game to life for visually impaired supporters. Our Volunteer Co-ordinator Graham Ross, who also serves as Dunfermline Athletic’s Disability Access Officer, discussed the transformative partnerships we’ve established with three prominent Fife clubs: Dunfermline Athletic, Raith Rovers, and East Fife FC.

These conversations highlight how our partnerships are breaking down barriers and creating inclusive matchday experiences for visually impaired fans. David’s dedication to providing detailed audio commentary has been instrumental in helping fans stay connected to the game, painting a vivid picture of every match for those who can’t see the action clearly.

One of the most powerful aspects of the interviews was hearing from Mike and Stuart, who shared their firsthand experience with the audio commentary service. Their story perfectly illustrates why these initiatives matter – football isn’t just about watching the game; it’s about being part of a community, sharing in the excitement, and experiencing the atmosphere of match day.

These partnerships represent more than just providing audio commentary; they’re about ensuring that everyone, regardless of their visual ability, can fully participate in the rich tradition of Scottish football. From dedicated match buddies to specialized commentary, we’re working together to make sure no fan misses out on the beautiful game.
